Business Practices Webinar Registration 

Financial Management hosts an annual seminar related to Business Practices. This academic year we will host a webinar over multiple days with presentations, reports, and other documents presented by experts from around the university. Recent topics have included Export Controls and Sanctions, Human Resource Systems, IT Policy and Standards, Buying Business Meals or Catering Services, a new financial review tool called FINTRACS, as well as Internal Controls and Risk Mitigation.

Please note that this webinar is only available to Virginia Tech employees and is limited to 500 employees per session. You must use your registered Virginia Tech Zoom login in order to complete the registration process.

How to register:

Available breakout sessions are shown below. To register for a session, select the corresponding registration button. This will take you to a Zoom registration link. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email, which will contain a link to add this event to your calendar. You must register for each session that you wish to attend.

IMPORTANT: In order to be awarded CPE credit, you must attend the entire session and answer the poll questions within that session. 

Please let Accessible Technologies know if you need any reasonable accommodations to access the information for the sessions. If you need an alternate format of class materials, a screen magnifier, screen reader, speech input, or other assistive technology please let us know at least two weeks in advance to allow us time to ensure items are in place and configured correctly.

Unable to attend a session?


We will provide a recording of each of the sessions and all related materials the week after the event on our website. Please note that CPE is unavailable for those that do not attend the live sessions and answer the poll questions.
