The Fiscal Exchange

Who are we?

We are a dedicated program at Virginia Tech sponsored by the Controller’s Office and Student Affairs focused on fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among fiscal employees. Our mission is to support and enhance the communication and cooperation between central and departmental finance teams.

What do we do?

Collaborate with Experts. We work closely with finance subject matter experts to identify key topics for discussion.

Annual Events. We organize four sponsored events each year in person and online, featuring expert speakers in the finance division.

Communication. We maintain a robust weekly email listserv to keep all participants informed and engaged.

Our Objectives:

Enhance Collaboration: We aim to increase collaboration and communication among finance employees.

Establish Connection: We strive to establish effective methods for feedback between central and departmental finance roles
